COVID-19 precautions for all Parish Council Meetings

With regard to all Parish Council Meetings – Please observe the below:

COVID PRECAUTIONS

1. Please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before the meeting(s) as admission will not be granted until that time. We will require all non Council members to register for Track and Trace purposes. Please bring your own pen.

2. Seating will be provided, 2 metres apart.

3. Please leave the building, immediately the final meeting is closed by the Chair.

4. Please note that we will be leaving doors open, to ensure a flow of fresh air. If it is a cool evening, please dress to keep warm.

5. Please note that the agenda items will be kept as brief as possible.

6. Items of other business, not on the agenda, are to be notified to the Clerk not later than 48 hours before the meeting. The Chair reserves the right not to take other business, not so notified.

7. Refreshments will not be provided.

8. We are not insisting on Covid tests or temperature checks but, if you or any member of your household or support bubble has any of the following symptoms, you are NOT TO ATTEND:

a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)

a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)

a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal
