BELTON AND MANTHORPE ANNUAL PARISH COUNCIL MEETING
Minutes of meeting held at the School Room, Belton
Wednesday 15th May 2024 7.15PM.
1) Present: Cllr S. Syddall, Cllrs - S Thompson, Rona Hallam, Jenna Ashford, Adrian Charity, Mary Simpson
Clerk C. Morgan. SKDC Cllr Ian Stokes
2) Apologies – None
3) Election of Chairman – S Thompson proposed Adrian Charity as Chair, seconded by R Hallam and agreed by all present.
4) Declaration of Acceptance: Councilor A Charity declared acceptance of his roles as elected Chair. And the relevant form was completed. Cllr Syddall stated that he would continue in his role as Cllr and ensure an orderly take over of the role was accomplished
5) Minutes of the last meeting held on 17th May 2023, had been circulated and it was unanimously agreed that they were a true and accurate record of proceedings. Proposed R Hallam, seconded Sally Thompson RESOLVED Chair to sign.
6) Resolved – The balance in the savings account of £120,149.00 was for purchase of land to extend the Burial Ground, this was approved by all present, these monies are in a savings account, and are to be ring fenced for this purpose.
